What started as a billboard to introduce the Taos, Volkswagen’s newest joyful SUV, turned into an excellent way to give people a little unexpected joy right in the heart of Times Square.

In a partnership with Atlas Obscura, we created a curated list of hidden joys around New York City that people could discover through a scannable QR code on the billboard.



Wild Postings

To extend the joy further, we peppered wild postings all throughout New York City to give people more chances to find these hidden gems.



Digital

When the billboard ended, we didn’t just stop there. We brought it online through a currated list.


Social

To top it off, we gave people on Instagram and Tinder a chance to find joy.
